Your tasks:
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
- Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers
- Gather and remove litter
- Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using handor power tools
- Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws
Your skills:
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying,taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes
